WHAT I AM ABOUT:
I strive to build and share powerful memories in a meaningful way.
WHERE I BELONG:
After having lived in 9 cities in 4 countries, I often ask myself where “home” is. The best answer hasn’t been the most conventional, but I think it matters. “Home” is not where I am from, but where people understand me and that has always been on a college or university campus. This is what drove me to aim higher in the postsecondary education field.
MY LEADERSHIP STYLE:
I am a high-achieving strategic thinker that can influence people and processes favorably by building mutually beneficial relationships. I adapt to the needs of people I supervise and encourage democratic leadership with a collaborative approach.
WHAT I BRING TO THE TABLE:
My unique and eclectic journey at over 10 higher education institutions, in 4 countries, as a student and/or an employee provided me with a plethora of opportunities to challenge how I perceived higher education. Having to solve problems in environments that were unknown and constantly changing enabled me to become not only highly adaptable, but also to espouse heterogeneous perspectives and embrace change.
I come with a strong business acumen as a graduate from the highly ranked and internationally accredited University of Strathclyde Business School. My marketing expertise allows me to segment student populations to implement adapted, data-driven, and creative solutions to everyday challenges. I am at the forefront of my field and am respected by my peers; I have presented some of my work at regional, national, and international conferences in addition to publishing an article in a peer-reviewed academic journal, and being a featured author on the Student Affairs Collective.
